The CMP team are celebrating after winning Litigation and Dispute Resolution Team of the Year at the Sheffield & District Law Society Awards which took place at the Crowne Plaza Royal Victoria Hotel, Sheffield on the 23rd of February.
Executive Director, Stacey Pocock says “We were all thrilled with the win. We genuinely didn’t expect it, but we are pleased with the recognition that the efforts of our team have received.”
CMP Legal’s Litigation and Dispute Resolution team takes pride in offering a fresh perspective, providing proactive, client-focused legal advice tailored for both businesses and individuals.
This is the first award that CMP Legal have won and we believe it is very well deserved given all the hard work of the staff at CMP, who were also shortlisted as finalists for Niche Law Firm of the Year.
Anna Cattee was also shortlisted as a finalist for Partner of the Year in recognition as one of the forces behind setting the firm up in March 2021. She is known by referrers and clients alike, and when referrers then become clients, we think that speaks volumes about her reputation.
Also, Amelia Bacon was shortlisted as a finalist for Rising Star of the Year in recognition of the progress in her legal career. Amelia is due to begin her Solicitor apprenticeship in March 2024. She will study for her qualifying exams (the SQE 1 and SQE2 courses) while obtaining the necessary work experience, which will allow her to qualify as a solicitor through the new qualification route which has been introduced by the profession.
