With more than 15 years’ experience, Anna advises clients across a broad range of corporate and commercial matters, acting for businesses from start-ups and owner-managed companies to established national organisations. She has substantial experience advising clients on equity investments and a wide range of corporate transactions, including acquisitions, disposals and reorganisations. Her expertise also covers the drafting and negotiation of constitutional documents be it share schemes or private equity documentation.
Anna regularly further advises on terms and conditions, distribution agreements and a wide range of commercial contracts. She is known for providing clear, pragmatic and commercially focused advice, and is particularly valued for her ability to translate complex legal issues into straightforward, practical guidance.
Under Anna’s leadership, the corporate team has achieved Legal 500 recognition, and she has played a leading role in the firm’s wider success, including Yorkshire Law Firm of the Year and multiple other industry awards.
Anna also has particular experience in the healthcare sector and in non-contentious construction matters. Her healthcare work includes advising on the acquisition and disposal of dental practices and pharmacies.
As a notary public, Anna assists both corporate and private clients with the certification of documents for use overseas, including identity verification and related notarial services. She is appointed by the Archbishop of Canterbury and regulated by the Faculty Office.
Outside work, Anna enjoys spending time with her husband and three daughters, travelling, skiing and is known to like a good social event!
